Our
Mission
Our mission is one of outreach,
to show people the love of Christ,
lead them to Jesus, and embrace them
in the church family; baptizing and
teaching them to worship God and to
grow in Christ-like character; baptizing
and teaching them to worship God and
to grow in Christ-like character;
equipping and strengthening them to
fulfill their purpose in the body
of Christ as ambassadors of Christ
in our city, our country and to the
nations (Matthew 28:19-20)
Our
Vision
We are a church of 300 members from
the metro-Nashville region of 200,000+
Middle TN Spanish-speaking people.
Our church community represents 18
Latin American countries. El Shaddai
envisions itself as a church planter
in the city, state and the nations.
Our Goal
Before the flood we were preparing
to celebrate our 5th anniversary,
praying and fasting for our next step.
At this old, but charming, history-filled
building we are bursting at the seams,
yet determined to fulfill our mission-driven
purpose.
Although
the flood is devastating to our facility,
we believe God intends to use the
nourishment of this rain to grow the
outreach of this ministry to city,
state and international mission fields.
Our top
priorities for the immediate need
and long-term vision are:
a. Evangelism
& Discipleship - Encourage
and build up the existing church community,
while engaging the greater Nashville
Spanish-speaking community.
b.
Missions - International
outreach to Spanish-speaking countries.
c. Funding
- Restoration of existing church to
be operable again, purchase of property
out of the flood plane, and building
of a new sanctuary.
No words can express
our gratitude to God, the body of
Christ adn our community for lifting
our hands and coming along side of
us. It is a witness to the world of
the unity of the body of Christ. We
pray abundant blessing and multiplication
of your seed in the Kingdom of God.
El
Shaddai will always remember the almighty
power of God, who turned a flood into
a blooming mission field.
There are different kinds of gifts,
but the same Spirit. There are different
kinds of service, but the same Lord.
There are different kinds of working,
but the same God works all of them
in all men.

I planted the seed, Apollos
watered it, but God made it grow.
